Birthday celebrations for Maxion Turkey operations.

Subsidiaries of İnci Holding and Maxion Wheels, the world’s largest wheel manufacturer, celebrated their birthdays in a ceremony hosted by Defne Sarısoy: Maxion Jantaş turned 50, Maxion İnci Steel 25, and Maxion İnci Aluminium was 12. Long Service Awards were given to employees in recognition of 25 and 30 years with Maxion, and their wives were also invited to the stage to receive their bouquets. The evening continued with concerts by Bengü and Rober Hatemo.

Mustafa Zaim: Our greatest value is being a family

In his speech at the event, Chairman of the Board of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş Mustafa Zaim noted that the achievements of Europe’s greatest wheel manufacturer in one location set the bar for the rest of the world and said, ‘We have always treasured a culture, or even a value, from the off, one we’ve created and fostered together: we are a family. A very big and proud family of 1,600 staff in four plants. Maxion Jantaş is a plane tree celebrating its 50th. Maxion İnci, an offspring of Maxion Jantaş, follows with 25 years of history. Maxion İnci Aluminium, the smallest, yet fastest-growing company in our family born from Maxion İnci Steel, celebrates its 12th birthday.’

Zaim continued, ‘We have completed one more year of successful growth and development. We broke several records and made a number of innovations in every field. We have continued to grow and develop. For the first time in 2017, Maxion Turkey operations manufactured more than ten million wheels. Our exports approached $300 million. The entire Maxion Wheels group once again set an example for the entire global wheel sector this year. I am proud to be a member of this wonderful family.’
