A day off production at Maxion İnci Aluminium for health and safety at work activities.

Maxion İnci Aluminium, a joint venture between the Brazilian Maxion Wheels Group and İnci Holding, held its sixth Occupational Health and Safety Day at the Tepekule Congress Centre for 850 employees. Production at the Manisa Aluminium wheel plant took the day off to attend training on various topics, a general knowledge quiz, plays, and a discussion with behavioural scientist and writer Mehmet Auf on ‘Safety at work starts with you’. The objective was raising awareness amongst employees of health and safety at work.

Attended by Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş General Manager Hakan Ünlü, Maxion İnci Aluminium Plant Manager Ali Altınkaya, and all staff, the event included a play by professional actors on health and safety at work. A general knowledge quiz with prizes also entertained the attendees.

Chairman of the Board of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş Mustafa Zaim said, ‘At Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş, health and safety at work is always our top priority. We are constantly focusing on this issue that forms our corporate culture and developing ourselves. These interactive events that replace a day’s production are extremely valuable both in terms of work health and safety and employee motivation. Our accident frequency ratio is 13% lower than last year. Our journey that started with about 200 staff in 2006 continues with 850 employees in 2017; we grow confidently. Our target is zero accidents at work.’
