Benefiting from the partnership of one of Turkey’s most valuable brands İnci Akü and the global leader Yuasa, İnci GS Yuasa pioneers global brand awareness efforts in the sector. This year, İnci GS Yuasa won the Special Jury Prize in Manufacturing in the Tenth Anatolian Brands contest. President of İnci Holding Neşe Gök received the prize at the ceremony held in Istanbul.

Remarking on the fact that İnci GS Yuasa products manufactured in Turkey reach over 80 countries on four continents, Gök said, ‘We have created brands whose roots are in Anatolia and which span the globe today. It is an honour to receive this prize that draws attention to Anatolia’s assets.’

Every year, millions of vehicles are fitted with İnci Akü and Yuasa brands in Europe, said Gök, and continued, ‘Millions of vehicles draw power from our batteries every year, and exports account for 60% of our sales. Once our third manufacturing facility is commissioned, our capacity will increase from five to seven million units.’

The ceremony in recognition of companies successfully raising brand awareness in Anatolia handed out a total of 17 awards in four categories.
