Executives and employees of İnci Holding celebrated the company’s 65th year at an evening commemorating Cevdet İnci and welcoming the New Year.

In her opening speech at the Sabancı Culture Palace, President of İnci Holding Neşe Gök noted that the New Year symbolises new hopes and objectives, and said, ‘We believe we have now left the challenges of 2017 behind, and enter the New Year with new hopes. We shall proceed towards our goal with firm steps and hopes this year as we have done for the past 65 years. Thanks to that wealth of experience, we are now the Pearl of the Aegean, Turkey’s İnci Holding.’

During the event, the Izmir State Opera and Ballet staged Yaşar Kemal’s immortal masterpiece Çakırcalı Efe, whose 2017-2018 season run was sponsored İnci Holding as part of the company’s continued support of art and artists.

The Cevdet İnci Awards were handed out, as were the 13th Cevdet İnci Incentive Awards given in recognition of employees who embrace the values entrusted to future generations by the founder of İnci Holding Cevdet İnci.

The winner of İnci Holding’s Social Message Competition, an annual event since 2000, was also announced during the evening. The slogan based on ‘We improve continuously’, one of the four basic values of İnci Holding, is ‘Progressive today for presence tomorrow,’ created by Eyüp Topçu from Maxion Jantaş, who received his award from Neşe Gök. The winning message will be used throughout the year in all written materials such as letterheads, presentations, catalogues, and in communication tools such as mail signatures and websites.
