The managers and employees of the venerable Turkish institution İnci Holding gather at the Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Centre for the 20th Cevdet İnci Commemoration and Honours Night.

The managers and employees of İnci Holding, which has been serving the automotive supply industry for 66 years, gathered again for the traditional Cevdet İnci Commemoration and Honours Night. The event organised at the Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Centre hosted the 14th Cevdet İnci Incentive Awards and the 20th Social Message. The night started out with cocktails and continued with a Doksirk team laser poi show of İnci Holding symbols.

In her opening speech, President of İnci Holding Neşe Gök said, ‘I would like us all to pay a grateful and fond tribute to my late grandfather Cevdet İnci, who laid the foundations of our holding, developed it step by step and handed it to us. With 66 years of experience, İnci Holding today is a global brand originating in the Aegean region and crossing the oceans. This year, bolstered by our heritage, we renewed our vision for the future in line with world trends. This new vision is “We enhance the company’s value through international investments in future business sectors and hand it over to new generations.” We have much to do for our country as Turkey’s İnci Holding, the Pearl of the Aegean.’

Choosing İnci Holding’s 2019 social message

Gök went on to announce the winner of the Social Message competition, held since 2000 with the participation of employees who uphold the values entrusted to future generations by Cevdet İnci. The 2019 social message, ‘Driven by values, focused on results’, will be used in all printed materials such as letterheads, presentations, catalogues and communication tools like e-mail signatures, as well as the Holding’s website throughout the year.

The 14th Cevdet İnci Incentive Awards find their owners

The Cevdet İnci Incentive Awards, initiated by founder Cevdet İnci and organised for the past 14 years to increase entrepreneurship in house, were also given out during the ceremony. The jury assessed 15 different project proposals in four different categories: production, service, R&D and innovation. The incentive awards were followed by the Occupational Health and Safety award, which aims to eliminate workplace accidents. Prize-giving ceremonies continued with the Internal Audit Performance Awards to raise awareness of audit processes. The final presentation of the night was the Internal Trainer Awards determined by the İnci Academy.

Rejuvenated by the communication of the new vision, and the exhaustion of an entire year relieved by the stand-up comedian Kaan Sekban’s show, the employees ended 2018 on a cheerful note.
